Short Description: The GNU Scientific Library (GSL) is a numerical library for C and C++ programmers.

Long Description:
The GNU Scientific Library (GSL) is a numerical library for C and C++ programmers. The library provides a wide range of mathematical routines such as random number generators, special functions and least-squares fitting. There are over 1000 functions in total.

GSL 1.9 is installed on Cobalt in /usr/apps/math/gsl/gsl-1.9.
Use the softenv keys +gsl-1.9-intel90, +gsl-1.9-intel10 and +gsl-1.9-gcc3 to add it to your environment.
